INFINITY PARTICIPATES IN RECREATIONAL ADVOCACY DAYS 06.23.17

Infinity Woven Products, LLC participated in the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) in May 2017 and Recreational Vehicle Industry Association’s (RVIA) in June 2017, respective Advocacy Days on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Both industries are seeing tremendous growth with the Marine industry up 6% and the Recreational Vehicle industry experiencing a 40 year high, up 15% in 2016.

Recreational Industries have come a long way from the recession years of 2008-2010. Recently, NMMA & RVIA partnered with 16 other leading outdoor associations to create the Outdoor Recreation Industry Roundtable (ORIR), which represents $646 Billion annual economic activity and 6.1 Million Jobs. Collectively, the ORIR and US based manufacturers create a powerful voice participating in legislation roundtables, discussing issues on access and entry, conservation, infrastructure, outdoor participation and workforce development.

As a key supplier to the Marine & RV industries, Infinity’s Leadership served as a state delegate to both Advocacy days speaking alongside US Representatives and Senators. Topics discussed included support of legislative bills regarding infrastructure, access and workforce development.

“What a gift of democracy! As constituents with vested interest in the success of these industries, we are able to use our voice and vote to ensure Americans who love the outdoors can continue to see its growth and preservation” said Warren J McCrickard, Vice President of Corporate Sales. “Infinity is a US manufactured floor covering.  We see this as an opportunity to share our company growth story in direct relation to their (Marine & RV industry) continued growth.”

Products that revolutionize an industry only come around so often. Infinity’s Luxury Woven Vinyl flooring has been one for both the Marine and RV industry.  Designed to perform, Infinity’s strong warranty, durability, and low-maintenance flooring has been a welcomed and celebrated offering for most boat builders while gaining great traction with RV builders as well.  Advocacy Day is one additional way that Infinity goes beyond supplier to partner recognizing their voice as part of the combined industry voice is much stronger and more meaningful.

“We do not see ourselves as just a supplier for these industries,” McCrickard says, “but as a partner to innovate new products, all while advocating alongside industry leaders as one unified team.”
